holds Friday night services at St Marks in the Northwest at Magee and La
Canada at 7:30 pm. (Optional
dinner 6:15 pm - Reservations: 546-0404 Kosher Chicken / Salmon /
Vegetarian -- $10)
Shabbat morning Service at Water of Life
Campus.
10-noon Renewal
Shabbat Morning service with guest D'var Torah (20-30 minutes)
Lunch - $10 requested
1-2:30 Class (there will be handouts each class - no one need
purchase a book)

Family Friendly Friday
Ner Tamid’s “Family Friendly
Friday” Shabbat Services, a standard event on third Fridays of each
month, continues at 7:30PM at Ner Tamid’s new
location, sharing space with Water of Life MCC at 3269 N. Mountain Ave. While all NT Friday night services are family-friendly, these
FFF services feature special activities for families and a chance for
the youngsters to be a part of the services in a fun way, even if they
have never done that before. Rabbi Lobb explains: “We are teaching that
Shabbat is special because of all the special things we CAN do, just
because it IS Shabbat.”
Religious School News
Another exciting event for Ner Tamid is the opening of our NW Religious
School for children living in the NW. This is a K-8 program, which,
like the Religious School cooperatively held with and at Bet Shalom, the
curriculum will follow the unique model designed to help educate future
