Where we have fun being Jewish, Where everyone makes a difference and where we are all family.

We invite you to come spend a Shabbat or a class or two with us,

And see for yourself what make Ner Tamid SO SPECIAL!

Ner Tamid is not for everyone.  We enjoy our community intimacy,

We are a congregation Where everyone cares about helping others,

Where everyone seeks to give more than we seek to receive,

Where everyone cares about Tikkun Olam,

Where everyone seeks to find the Divine in every thing and in every one.

We find the specialness of our Jewishness in Singing together, Praying together,

Learning together, Laughing together and Crying together –

We are family.

Congregation Ner Tamid (Eternal Light) is a Jewish family who welcomes all congregants and respects individual differences.  We gather to reach out to God, study Torah and the texts, and observe rituals.  Although not all members are Jewish, we aspire to live by the principles of Reform Judaism and teach them diligently to our children.  Our spiritual and ethical practices guide us to improve the world by being responsible for the welfare of one another, the larger community, and the delicate web of life in the natural world.  We strive to value all people and, as our ancestors have for countless generations, celebrate the gift of life by performing acts of loving kindness and seeking justice, humility, and peace.

Our dues are most affordable.   Our fee structure recognizes the variety of membership needs of our congregants, and provides for singles, couples and families.  Special needs are always considered.   In addition to regular memberships, we also offer special rates for our winter visitors.  Full-time students are always welcome as our guests without charge.

You are cordially invited and are most welcome to join us for Shabbat services on any Friday evening, at 7:30pm.

See for yourself why we are known as "The exceptionally warm and friendly congregation!"
